Beginning of Filming

The planning stage is now done and I am ready to start filming which will happen imminently, establishing shots will be filmed first and then the actor will be brought in to film the bulk of the video, some parts of the filming will possibly need to be done on certain dates due to planned events. For most of the video I will be using Peterborough City Centre and Queensgate as these are easily accessible locations for me. The plot of the video will be walking around the streets of Peterborough and eventually buying a vinyl album, at the end of the video the vinyl will be spinning showing it to be Johnny Marr's album, for the song which is Johnny Marr's The Right Thing Right the meaning of the song is about Northern Soul all-nighters attended by Marr, due to this I may use local Northern Soul or Mod nights in the video as a way of displaying this. All these areas will require permission for me to film on which I will be trying to get prior to filming.

Story Boarding

For the stage I am now at I need to plan the video shot for shot by story boarding, here I will roughly sketch each shot, name the shot being used and give a brief description of what I want from the shot. My video will be around 4 minutes long so I could be looking at around 40 shots. Most of my video will be filmed on the streets, due to this many shots could be quite similar.
